Uma & Nish: A Vibrant Two-Day Indian Fusion in Dubrovnik
When Uma and Nish brought their friends and family from London and across the globe to Dubrovnik, they entrusted us with a vibrant, high-energy celebration of heritage. At Serendipity Weddings, we were honoured to produce our first Hindu wedding, proving that our commitment to flawless logistics translates beautifully across cultures. This two-day takeover was a masterclass in meaningful, personalized details, all unified by a custom monogram of the couple's initials that graced every element of the weekend.
Day one at Villa Banac was a whirlwind of colour and tradition, beginning with a sun-drenched Haldi ceremony and a spirited water fight. The energy reached a fever pitch with a grand Jaan arrival featuring dhol players flown in from the UK, leading into a breathtaking Hindu ceremony under a floral Mandap accented by vibrant daytime fireworks. The evening transitioned into a high octane Sangeet, where the intricate Indian fashion took centre stage.
The celebration continued on day two at Višnjica with a sophisticated western-style dinner and heartfelt speeches. Between the tables, two magicians added an air of wonder before the dance floor ignited. From a special choreographed performance by the bride to an epic dance battle between the girls and the boys, no one was left sitting. For Uma and Nish, we ensured that the rich traditions of a destination Indian wedding were perfectly at home against the historic backdrop of the Adriatic.
